Happy belated Halloween! We took Marcus out for his very first trick-or-treat night, and it went very well. He had no problem going up to the houses. He did, however, get more quiet after the first few. And then, after a couple of streets, he said "I want to go home. I have enough candy." LOL! In my day, there was no such thing as "enough candy". ;)
Update on the medical hoopla: for the time being, I have "uncontrolled asthma" (per the internist's referral to the pulmonologist, whom I see in a couple of weeks). I'd say it's controlled at the moment though, since I'm on meds for it. I'm still coughing a bit, but so is everyone else in our household. The next step would be to try to exercise again and see that how that goes, but it's kind of tough with the coughing.
The weird thing I've noticed lately is that I don't feel bad in the same way I used to. I went through a couple weeks of being really sick and coughing all night, and I felt extremely crappy then...but once the bad coughing stopped, I still kept staying up a little later than usual, and I don't seem to have the same degree of FMS symptoms as before. I still feel a lot weaker than I used to (one of my usual symptoms), but of course I haven't been using my muscles as much either - so it's hard to say. It's just nice to have a little extra time after Marcus goes to bed, rather than needing every minute of sleep time that he gets for myself as well.
